Part A – Becoming Your Own Mentor
Transitioning to independence brings emotional and institutional challenges. This session addresses overcoming imposter syndrome and self-limitation, building supportive peer networks, using mentoring as a growth tool, and leveraging AI for self-paced learning and career guidance.

Part B – From Postdoc to Principal Investigator
The early years as a PI are critical. This session covers developing a research vision, generating preliminary data, securing funding, managing a team, and balancing research, teaching, and service.

María Andrea Camilletti is a biologist and holds a PhD in Biological Chemistry from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. She completed her doctoral and postdoctoral training as a fellow of the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET), where her research centered on the hormonal physiopathology of the pituitary gland and the molecular diagnosis of congenital hypopituitari
