Bio:María Andrea Camilletti is a biologist and holds a PhD in Biological Chemistry from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. She completed her doctoral and postdoctoral training as a fellow of the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET), where her research centered on the hormonal physiopathology of the pituitary gland and the molecular diagnosis of congenital hypopituitarism. Since 2023, she has worked as a Researcher of CONICET at the Laboratory of Applied Research in Neuroscience (LIAN), FLENI. Her current projects involve the development of new in vitro models using human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) to identify the molecular disease mechanisms of novel genes and genetic variants identified in patients with hormone deficiencies. She also serves as Professor of Human Genetics at the University of Morón.
