Bio:
Dr. Maniatis attended Harvard Medical School and completed his pediatrics residency and pediatric endocrinology fellowship at Children's Hospital Colorado. He is the founder of Rocky Mountain Pediatric Endocrinology, a private practice in Colorado. He is also an Associate Clinical Professor with the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. In addition, he runs the follow-up program for congenital hypothyroidism with the Colorado Newborn Screening Program. He is an international key opinion leader on growth disorders and has served as US national spokesperson for Growth Awareness Week (2018-2024). He is a principal investigator for all phase 3 trials evaluating long-acting growth hormone both in pediatric growth hormone deficiency as well as non-GH deficiency states (Ascendis, Novo Nordisk, and OPKO/Pfizer; in alphabetical order). He is a also principal investigator with the phase 3 trial for an oral secretagogue for pediatric GH deficiency (Lumos). Dr. Maniatis serves as a principal investigator for the phase 4 long-acting growth hormone registries for Ascendis (both US and EU). He is chairperson of the data access committee and principal investigator for GloBE-Reg, the international growth hormone registry from University of Glasgow. Dr. Maniatis is also a principal investigator for a phase 4 trial for hypophosphatasia. Dr. Maniatis lectures extensively and has several publications to his credit.
